Georgia Tech running back Broderick Snoddy suffered what appeared to be a broken leg during the first half of the Yellow Jackets’ game against Clemson.

Snoddy suffered the injury after taking the option pitch from quarterback Justin Thomas moving to his left. The running back started to accelerate downfield when a Clemson defender grabbed him and Snoddy's left leg kicked his right leg causing it to bend in half.

Georgia Tech medical personnel immediately came out with a stretcher and Snoddy’s teammates surrounded him as he was carted off the field.

Snoddy’s injury was the second major incident of the half. Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered what looked like a knee injury earlier in the game. Both injuries were a result of players getting tripped up by the turf.
